AMISTAD: INTERCULTURAL CENTRE TRASTEVERE
Amistad means friendship, but behind this name there is also a great story of redemption, participation and freedom. The Trastevere intercultural centre, as part of the project "Interventions to put in value the different cultures and promote an inclusive community in the territory of Municipality I Centre of Rome", is the beating heart of a new open and inclusive community, living in the diversity and in the encounter with foreign cultures that animate our territory, an opportunity for mutual exchange and growth. A lively, committed and educating community, at the center of which the girls and boys who are the real protagonists of our project must be placed. Amistad was born as a space for intercultural socialization where all boys and girls can feel active subjects, main actors of their own growth path; a space to share experiences, languages and cultures, to start today to be the citizens of tomorrow.
